tERMS AND CONDITIONS

1StopLaundry Terms and Conditions

1StopLaundry is a secure service, and we make sure both you and your property are well protected.

1. Agreement Overview

By placing an order with 1StopLaundry through our website, mobile platform, or over the phone with an agent, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not accept these Terms, please do not submit an order.

1StopLaundry reserves the right to update, modify, or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The most current version will always be available on our website. By continuing to use our services, you agree to be bound by the latest version of these Terms and Conditions, and it is the customer’s responsibility to review them periodically for updates.

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and the Provinces of Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Quebec.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the services are performed, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the services provided shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located within such jurisdiction. Where permitted by law, disputes may be resolved through binding arbitration, and the customer agrees to waive any right to participate in class action proceedings.

2. Service Scope

1StopLaundry provides wash, dry, and fold services only. We do not offer dry cleaning or ironing.

Items are washed using a standard wash cycle. Water temperature may vary between hot or cold depending on the facility and city where your laundry is processed.

Customers may include cleaning notes or special requests with their order. While we do our best to accommodate these requests, they cannot always be guaranteed.

A minimum charge applies to all laundry orders. The minimum order charge varies based on distance from the servicing laundromat. The applicable minimum will always be displayed at checkout before the order is placed.

3. Cancellations and Changes

You may cancel your appointment free of charge up to 2 hours before your scheduled pickup time.

Laundry must be placed outside and ready for pickup at least 15 minutes of the start of your pickup window for a contactless pickup.  If the laundry is not available and the customer does not answer their apartment buzz, phone, or messages, the pickup will be considered missed.

Missed pickups or deliveries will incur a $10 redelivery fee per attempt.

4. Pickup and Delivery

We strive to collect and deliver laundry within the chosen time slots. 1StopLaundry shall not be liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to weather conditions, traffic, third-party service provider delays, or operational disruptions.
If a customer is unavailable at the scheduled delivery time, a $10 redelivery fee will apply for each additional attempt.

If payment is not received before the scheduled delivery, 1StopLaundry reserves the right to withhold your laundry until full payment is made. If payment is still outstanding 15 days after the invoice date, a storage fee of $25 per day (charged in the local currency of the service location) will apply.
If no effort is made by the customer to resolve payment within 30 days, we reserve the right to dispose of, donate, or otherwise manage the items at our discretion, with no further liability.

Responsibility for the order transfers to the customer upon successful delivery to the designated location provided by the customer.

The customer is responsible for ensuring accurate and secure pickup and delivery instructions.

5. Payment Terms

Full payment must be made upon receiving your invoice. Laundry will not be returned until payment is completed.
1StopLaundry reserves the right to automatically charge the card on file for any unpaid invoice amounts.

If payment is not received within 15 days of invoicing, we may:

  • Withhold delivery of your laundry

  • Charge a $25 (in the local currency) daily storage fee

If no effort is made within 30 days to settle the balance or retrieve your items, 1StopLaundry reserves the right to dispose of, donate, or otherwise manage the items at our discretion, without liability.

By using the service, the customer authorizes 1StopLaundry to charge the payment method on file upon completion of services.

The customer agrees that all charges are valid and final upon completion of the service and delivery.

1StopLaundry reserves the right to dispute any chargebacks or payment reversals.

6. Liability and Damage Protection

Although loss or damage is rare, 1StopLaundry offers limited protection. We will credit customers up to $35 (in the local currency) per item, with a maximum of $200 (in the local currency used) per order, based on the used value (up to 70% of the original retail price).

To qualify:

  • Claims must be submitted within 48 hours of receiving your laundry

  • Requests must be sent to Support@1StopLaundry.com.

  • Include a description of the issue and photos if possible

1StopLaundry shall not be liable for:

  • Shrinkage due to fabric construction, age, or normal laundering

  • Holes, tears, or wear from regular use and machine washing

  • Colour bleeding, even though we separate lights and darks

  • Items left in pockets, which may be lost or damage garments

Customers are responsible for providing clear and accurate delivery instructions when placing their order. If no delivery instructions are provided, our drivers may leave the laundry in a reasonable and accessible location at the delivery address, including but not limited to building lobbies, reception areas, concierge desks, or outside the unit door where accessible.

If laundry is delivered to the address provided and left in a reasonable location due to missing or incomplete instructions, 1StopLaundry is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage occurring after delivery.

Compensation is not guaranteed and is assessed at the sole discretion of 1StopLaundry.

Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, 1StopLaundry’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the services shall not exceed the greater of:
(a) $100; or
(b) ten (10) times the total amount paid for the specific order.

Under no circumstances shall 1StopLaundry be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

7. Quality Guarantee

We carefully inspect all garments before returning them. If you’re not satisfied, contact us within 24 hours of delivery, and we may offer a complimentary re-cleaning of the affected items.

To request a re-clean:

  • Email Support@1stoplaundry.com.

  • Provide a description and include photos if applicable

  • Our team will coordinate a suitable time for pickup

Requests made after 24 hours will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.

8. Laundry Acceptance Guidelines

To protect the health and safety of our staff and ensure a clean working environment, all customers must certify that their laundry meets the following standards:

  • Free of Infestation: Laundry must not contain or originate from environments infested with bed bugs, fleas, cockroaches, or any other pests.

  • Sanitary Condition: Laundry must not include biohazardous materials such as feces, urine, blood, or vomit beyond what is considered normal from regular household use.

  • No Excessive Pet Hair: Items should be reasonably free of excessive pet hair that may damage equipment or pose a health risk.

If laundry is found to violate these standards:

  • A $20 quality handling fee will be charged. This will also cover the cost of pickup and delivery for returning the items.

  • The affected items may be returned unwashed and marked “as is.”

9. Legal Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the United States, and any disputes will be handled under Canadian or United States of America jurisdiction in the respective provinces and states mentioned in the above agreement.
If any provision is deemed unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining sections will remain valid and enforceable.

10. Use of Personal Information

We collect your personal information to:

  • Fulfill your laundry service

  • Process payments

  • Provide service updates and promotions (you may opt out at any time)

We do not share your personal data with third parties, except where required to fulfill your order.

11. Third-Party Services & Independent Contractors

1StopLaundry operates as a platform that coordinates laundry and delivery services.

Laundry services may be performed by independent third-party facilities, and delivery services may be performed by independent contractors.

1StopLaundry does not directly perform laundry or delivery services and shall not be liable for the acts or omissions of such third-party providers.

By using the service, the customer acknowledges and agrees that services performed by third-party providers are undertaken at the customer’s own risk.
