Bag all your laundry in a disposable bag or a reusable bag (which we’ll return along with your cleaned clothes). Tie it shut to keep everything secure, and leave it outside your door before your pickup window begins β€” we’ll handle the rest!

It's totally up to you! Our customers leave their clothes outside their door, or wait to have the driver knock before handing them their laundry bags.Β

In your case, you can leave specific instructions to your 1Stop Driver when you're booking your appointment!

Nope! Just toss everything together β€” when your laundry arrives at our facility, we’ll sort it for you so your whites stay bright and your darks stay vibrant. You don’t have to worry about a thing!

Yes. We can pick up and deliver directly to your apartment door. When booking, simply include your buzz number, unit number, and floor in the instructions to make it easy for the driver to access your building.

If your building has special entry rules or concierge procedures, adding those details helps ensure a smooth pickup and delivery.

We return your laundry neatly folded and tied in a clear bag. Clothes are organized so that all garments stay together and any linens are kept separate, making it easy to unpack and put away.

Pricing

Everyday clothing and linens (such as shirts, pants, underwear, socks, towels, and bedsheets) are priced by the pound. This covers washing, drying, and neatly folding your items together.

Some bulky or special-care items require their own dedicated wash or dry cycle due to size, material, or hygiene reasons. These items are priced per item, not by weight.

Examples of per-item pricing include:

  • Comforters & duvets

  • Pillows

  • Large blankets

  • Mattress covers

Final pricing is calculated after your laundry is processed, based on actual weight and item type.

When you book an appointment, aΒ $20 pre-authorization holdΒ will be placed on your card. This is not a charge – it’s simply to confirm that your payment method is valid and to secure your booking.

  • If you cancel your appointment:The $20 hold will be released, and the funds will be refunded to your account within 3–5 business days (processing times may vary by bank).
  • If your appointment proceeds:Β The $20 pre-authorization will be replaced by the full invoice amount once your service is completed and payment is processed.

This process helps us ensure smooth, secure bookings for all customers.

The card that you used at the initial time of booking will be used to pay for your laundry after it has been delivered and an invoice was sent. Totally contactless - totally easy!

Yes β€” we have a 15 lb minimum booking charge. This helps cover the costs of pickup and delivery, washing, and dryer cycles required to process each order.

That said, you’re not required to send a minimum amount of laundry. You can send any amount you like β€” if your load weighs less than 15 lbs, the 15 lb minimum charge still applies.

This allows us to provide reliable pickup, professional cleaning, and consistent service quality for every order.

We require a card on file to ensure smooth and reliable service. Your card is not charged at booking β€” it is only charged after your laundry is processed and before delivery, based on the final weight and services completed.

This helps us:

  • Cover processing and delivery costs

  • Avoid payment issues after orders are completed

  • Keep pickup and delivery fast and seamless

By placing a booking, you agree to have your card charged automatically in accordance with our payment terms. Full details are outlined in our Terms & Conditions – Payment Terms.

Β

washing and cleaning

Absolutely not. Your clothes are never washed with other customers’ items.

Each order is processed on its own dedicated wash and dry cycles to ensure proper care, hygiene, and fabric safety. We take cleanliness and sanitization seriously and understand how important it is for customers to feel confident about how their laundry is handled.

Your clothes are always cleaned separately and treated with care.

Most orders are completed within 48 hours or less. An exact delivery day and time is always shown during booking, so you’ll know upfront when to expect your laundry back.

If you need it sooner, we also offer a 24-hour rush service which you can see when scheduling your appointment.Β

After we collect your laundry, our wonderful driver will take it to one of our partner laundry facilities to have it washed, dried and folded. We take pride in supporting various local businesses and ensure that the same process is applied wherever you choose to use 1StopLaundry.

We always check pockets when doing laundry, however sometimes, things can be missed. For that reason, we always encourage you to check your pockets before giving us your laundry!

Some more laundry questions...

Based on the average of our customers' loads, we find that the average laundry load is on average 16-20lbs. This is roughly what a 17lb order looks like:

- 3 pairs of pants
- 2-3 pairs of shorts
- 7 pairs of underwear
- 7-10 shirts
- 1 sweater
- 1 set of bed linen
- 2 sets of bathroom sheets (towels and washing cloths)

Depending as well on your lifestyle choices (activity level, social level, do you go out a lot?) this number may also increase. As well, we've noticed an increase in average loads during different seasons throughout the year - summer/winter months more so.

Health advisors recommend washing your bed sheets minimum once per week. This ensures that bacteria and germs do not concatenate on your sheets from perspiration during sleep. Hotels are encouraged to change the bed linen in a guest room twice per week, even if that room is not being occupied. We recommend following health safety instructions and washing your sheets as per the recommended interval.

We suggest that all new under garments should be washed prior to wearing. Freshly purchased clothes can hold all types of germs and bacteria that collect throughout the display process prior to purchasing. If you have skin sensitivities, we also suggest washing all items of clothing that comes in contact with your skin before wearing.
